Job Description- Roles and Responsibilities: Delivery commitments – Window person for all customers (DC & IC), Project leaders etc IC orders (MML, MME & MMPRC, etc) -Handling their projects and regular meetings for status updates. Responsible for all the parts arrangements to assembly. Responsible for the costing of each process Inventory Monitoring – WIP, FG, Stock, etc Tracking of all open orders with status Monitoring each sales category wise in Gemba walk Monitoring each WorkCentre performance on daily basis Following up the drawing with design team, AE, sales, etc Responsibility for handling 4M’s (Money, Material, Machine, and Manpower) Managing the process planning, estimating, Loading & scheduling, dispatching, expediting, Inspection, Evaluation, etc Establish routes and schedules for the work that will ensure the optimum utilization of materials, workers, and machines and to provide the means for ensuring the operation of the plant in accordance with these plans Ensure that materials and equipment are available when needed and that everything runs smoothly Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving. Maintenance of SAP item master file for MML fabricated components such as lot sizing, stocking levels, lead times, etc. Develop and monitor production schedules based on inventory plans, customer delivery requirements, forecasts, and plant capacity utilization. Work closely with Tactical Planners to ensure production plan requirements are effectively and efficiently achieved. Liaise with the Sub-contracting Coordinator to ensure inventory levels are successfully maintained. Participate in the make versus buy decisions. Provide guidance and support to global inventory management initiatives. Support external sourcing decisions. Make recommendations for productivity and/or method improvements. Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations. Ensure ISO guidelines are followed. Complete miscellaneous duties and tasks as they may be assigned. Verify the effectiveness of the actions taken for an average of 3 months and resubmit the 8D report if necessary. Review and approval of internal Process development activity. Responsible for monitoring and approving all the quality assurance-related activity in new product development. Responsible for monitoring the Cost of poor quality (COPQ for overall organization). Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers. Analyse information about supplier performance or procurement program success. Design or implement supply chains that support environmental policies. Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows. Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products. Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure the availability of materials or products. Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality. Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service. Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.
