Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to determine the extent of damage
  • Prepare accurate estimates for repairs, including parts, labor, and time needed
  • Collaborate with insurance companies and customers to explain estimates and negotiate repair costs
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with technicians, customers, and other team members
  • Ensure timely completion of estimates and follow-up as necessary
  • Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and estimating software

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Body Shop Estimator or similar role in the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex)
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and parts
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification or training in collision repair estimation preferred
