As a Parts Advisor, you will be the first-point of contact to our customers within the Service Department. You will be vital in scheduling appointments, relaying important information about vehicle maintenance and repairs to customers, reviewing service history, while also providing and explaining accurate cost estimates.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist customers/technicians/wholesale customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
  • Take ownership of customer's experience by carrying out additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression on the customer.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether over the phone or in person, to assure customer needs are handled to best abilities.
  • Pull purchased parts from stock
  • Determine availability of part, if not in stock, and submit overnight order if requested by the customer or advisor.
  • Ensure that the daily inventory or technicians' time is consistently sold to customers.
  • Set up part orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
  • Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with customers and co-workers
  • Keep front and rear counters clean and clutter-free
  • Maintain a professional, well-groomed, personal appearance

Requirements

  • Prior experience is preferred, but not required.
  • High School Diploma or greater.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Strong work-ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to lift or move heavier items
