Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Follow schematics or instructions to ensure accurate painting and finishing
- Repair or replace damaged drywall, plaster, or wood surfaces
- Perform basic carpentry tasks such as framing and trim work
- Use power tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Caulk gaps and seams to ensure a smooth and seamless finish
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities
- Ability to read and interpret schematics or instructions
- Familiarity with frame carpentry and basic repair work
- Attention to detail and a strong eye for color and design
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and airless paint spraying is a plus
