POSITION: Warehouse Assistant

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Operations Manager

HOURS: Full Time/Salary 

LOCATION: Marysville, WA(on-site)

About the Position: 

The Warehouse Assistant assists the Warehouse Operations Manager and the DC Lead to ensure that domestic distribution center and in-house print network orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner.

Why it matters:

The Warehouse Assistant is the key stakeholder in ensuring orders and are packed and ready to ship to meet customer deadlines. The main priority is to pick/pack all domestic distribution center parcel orders. Other priorities include assisting with all other department requests and other general warehouse duties.

This role will create impact with the following responsibilities:

Direct to Consumer Warehouse:

• Assist in Direct-to-Consumer, wholesale, sample order- picking and packing.
• Assist in Direct-to-Consumer inventory managing, monitoring and restocking.

Wholesale/Sample Orders:

• Assist in Bulk order packaging; wholesale orders, print vendor inventory -transfers, donations, returns, etc (via LTL & small parcel).

General Warehouse Duties:

• Assist in unloading & loading containers. Unloading, staging, wrapping, storing, inventorying.
• Using forklift to pull and store product. Consolidating and moving inventory.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness & organization. Garbage/recycling & sweeping.

Inter-Department Communication:

• Distribution Center – internal point of contact. Managing the DC email/chat account and respond to inquiries/notifications in a timely manner.
• Assist in warehouse communications to various company departments.
• General requests - e.g. shipping inquiries, product specs, inventory confirmations, etc. Collaborate with the customer service team on order status changes.

Acumatica/Systems:

• Using Acumatica to adjust inventory, transfer product, etc.
• LTL/FTL, quotes, bookings and scheduling. Prepping staged pallets for transit (labels, BOL, Pro#s, etc).
• Process returns in 3rd party platform. In turn, processing the 2nd half in our ERP system (Acumatica). Monitor REI order logistics – 3rd party monitoring to ensure shipping windows are being met.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 20-40lb boxes repeatedly.
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time
• Forklift certification a plus
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Strong work ethic
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous Warehouse Experience
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment where air temperature varies due to outdoor weather changes (i.e. Cold in Winter and Hot in Summer)
• Must demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the Company Vision, mission and Practices
• Strong communication skills, team oriented philosophy, and problem solving skills
• Ability to understand issues and make systematic and rational judgements based on relevant information
