Title: Design Technician/CAD Technician

The Design Technician is an entry-level position responsible for carrying out functions that pertain to the design and manufacturing of patient-specific spine guides. This will involve receiving work orders and designing patient-specific products, communicating with clients, reviewing medical images, and other tasks related to the development of Mighty Oak Medical products.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the medical device design process
• Review medical images and customer facing documents
• Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with clients and partners
• Meet internal needs and expectations in a satisfactory manner

Position Qualifications:

• CAD design experience (SolidWorks preferred)
• Must be able to communicate (oral and written) well with team and clients
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have ability to work within a regulated environment and follow appropriate procedures and standards
• Demonstrates cooperation with other members to achieve goals. Appropriately gives and is open to feedback from team and coworkers.
• Shows effective planning and organizational skills in the completion of projects and daily work activities.
• Performs complex and difficult tasks with limited supervision.
• Possesses the ability to respond in a cooperative, courteous, and timely manner.
• Demonstrates a sense of ownership and follows through to completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the medical device industry or related field
• Familiar with anatomy (spine preferred)
