Provides administrative assistance for trust officers in various capacities, including administration of personal trust, agency, conservatorship, estates and IRA accounts. Communicates directly with clients regarding account matters and client inquiries. Participates in client meetings and independently handles designated client matters.

Responsibilities

  • Works with and provides back up to Trust Officers and Administration Officers in areas of client service
  • Assists department with account management in a variety of capacities.
  • Reviews and processes incoming client correspondence and mail related to client accounts.
  • Assists with client list management and department outreach efforts such as client mailings, etc.
  • Handles some communication and documentation related to client accounts.
  • Responds to requests and questions from clients and co-workers in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Develops familiarity with client account histories and objectives.
  • Reviews and approves expenditures and bills related to client accounts.
  • Works to solve various problems with accounts in coordination with the operations or administrative staff.
  • Maintains knowledge of trust administration support including trust accounting system, and trust department and bank wide policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required, specifically concerning business related coursework or a combination of education and related experience
  • Some background in trust is Ideal (0 – 2 years)
  • An additional 1-3 years of related office, investment, trust or financial institution experience, required.
