Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Project Administrator for our Lakeville, Minnesota corporate office.

Job Summary:

The project administrator acts as the point of contact for all project participants and track project performance. Their responsibilities include project organization, scheduling and facilitating meetings, recording decisions, and addressing issues. Additionally, they are responsible for project analytics, documentation and providing executive summaries of results and performance. 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develops, organizes, and executes an operational plan to achieve the goals of an assigned project or program.
  • Schedules, organizes, and facilitates meetings Provides resulting documentation including decisions, issues, and actions. Develops and executes plans to address and resolve issues.
  • Develops workflows and documented processes to achieve project goals. Provides training and document support.
  • Creates data models, analytics and reporting to assist in decisions or provide insight into a project. Creates and publishes project performance and results, including executive summaries.
  • Performs risk assessments to project timeline, budget, or results 
  • Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Project management or planning background
  • Data analytics and reporting background desired
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others and independently
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and problem solve
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Office skills

Mental & Physical Demands:

  • Attention to detail critical to ensure accuracy and completion of objectives
  • Regular interaction with people, team-player
  • Fast pace of work, requires multi-tasking, etc.
  • Frequently required to sit, use hands to handle objects and talk or hear
  • Frequent wrist and/or hand movement is required
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to Travel as required

Equipment Used:

Regularly uses typical office equipment including computer keyboard, terminal and copier.

Work Environment:

Work will typically be performed in an office environment Monday through Friday.
