Job Summary :

Primary responsibility is to ensure efficient workflow in pharmacy by managing inventory within pharmacy and overstock locations as well as managing and organizing order (prescription) processing for technicians via computer system.

Essential Job Functions :

• Manage Orders (Prescriptions)
• Batch orders via computer.
• Pick orders via WMS bin picking system.
• Allocate orders between technicians for processing.
• Manage Inventory
• Place transfers to replenish stock.
• Break down bulk products to individual units.
• Manage inventory to ensure proper dating and minimums are maintained.
• Cycle count inventory to maintain accuracy.
• Complete special projects as requested by Pharmacist on Duty.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications :

• Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
• High School Diploma or equivalency required
• No experience required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior experience with a WMS inventory management system
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Basic computer skills, ability to operate a Windows-based computer and data entry
• Ability to differentiate details related to product codes and descriptions (such as verifying a string of numbers)
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages.

• Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and adapt to changes in processes
• Well-developed critical thinking skills and attention to detail
• Must be self motivated and able to work independently

• Repetitive motion to include reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying one to 50 pound packages
• Bending and twisting

Equipment Used :

Regularly uses packing tools such as handheld tape guns and scanners. Also uses typical office equipment including computer keyboard and terminal.

Work Environment :

Work will be performed indoors in a relatively temperature controlled climate where moderate heat, cold or humidity may be experienced.

Moderate exposure to dust and dirt may also be expected. Work will typically be performed Monday through Friday. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required.
