How you'll get to contribute

Drive business growth and and a smoother preconstruction process by implementing a more mature thought-out bid system for energy infrastructure projects.

What you’ll get to do

  • Refine operational efficiency and effectiveness by identifying repetitive estimating tasks, documenting standardized procedures, and continuously updating estimating techniques, tools, and software
  • Optimize project financial financial management and overall performance through comprehensive analysis and monitoring of project costs and alternative equipment, materials, services, and solutions
  • Improve estimation accuracy and project planning by actively engaging in site visits to gain practical insights and firsthand knowledge of field conditions
  • Drive client satisfaction and long-term business growth by crafting comprehensive cost breakdowns that emphasize the value of higher-quality options
  • Foster collaboration and establish accountability and smooth project execution by proactively communicating and bridging communication gaps with internal and external stakeholders
  • Present valuable insights, expertise, project reviews, and lessons learned in high-level meetings and decision-making processes
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, codes, and standards, staying informed about changes that may impact cost estimation and project management practices

About you

  • You know your way around heavy civil Estimating and quantity takeoffs
  • You want to be 100% focused on building great bids without the ongoing responsibilities of Project Management
  • You've used HCSS Heavy Bid or similar software
  • Your persuasive charm goes beyond building lasting relationships and winning bids. You love helping customers see the value in investing in higher cost/quality options and additional services
  • You strike a perfect balance between confidence and humility. As a seasoned estimator, you bring expertise without arrogance. Open-minded and curious, you welcome new ideas and perspectives while offering your expert insight.
  • You're inspired by a strong sense of purpose and a relentless desire to innovate, constantly seeking out smart solutions that optimize resource utilization, minimize waste, reduce project costs, and enhance overall value
