MIDWEST PULMONARY ASSOCIATES, S.C. is dedicated to providing comprehensive consulting services in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine to those patients referred to us by other physicians and patients. All our physicians are board certified/board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. We are a small specialty practice consisting of three doctors in Lombard, IL. Our staff are dedicated and professional and our clinic is fast-paced and rewarding.

We are seeking an experienced and certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical and intensive care, pulmonology, and sleep medicine. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, and prescribing medications. The successful candidate will also be expected to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for our patients. Future duties to include, On Call and Hospital rounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sleep medicine services, including sleep studies, diagnosis, and treatment of sleep disorders.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests such as Spirometry and F.E.N.O..
  • Ability to interpret Pulmonary Function Tests, Spirometry and F.E.N.O test results.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
  • Provide patient care in a critical and intensive care setting.
