Job Summary

The senior carpet technician will operate vacuum and commercial carpet shampooing/extractor equipment, mix
chemicals as required and properly clean equipment following use.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Administrator, Director of Nursing or Unit Manager. 
• Treat visitors and team members with respect and dignity
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information. 
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Comply with the Facility’s personnel, safety, and guidelines and procedures as related to a Vendor.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times. Ability to troubleshoot various issues occurring to correct any issues or deficiencies. 
• Must utilize electronic work orders, log books, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to meet timelines for projects. 
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions. 
• Assure compliance to all State and Federal regulations.
• Be able to perform items including but not limited to rough & finish carpentry, siding/gutter work, drywall & patching, interior/exterior painting, flooring & tiling, cabinetry & countertops, minor plumbing/electrical. 
• Facility grounds must be maintained in an orderly fashion, free from hazards, debris and clutter. 
• Sidewalks and drives must be free from snow, ice, leaves and in good repair. 
• Keep company equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
• Other job duties as assigned

• If required to operate a motor vehicle for business purposes, must successfully complete the requirements contained in Company’s Motor Vehicles policy.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents/building during emergency situations.
• Must be able to perform the essential position functions of the job with, or without reasonable accommodation.
