Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Body Removal Personnel to join our team on an on-call basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide timely and compassionate removal of deceased individuals from various locations, including private residences, hospitals, nursing homes, and other facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to treating the deceased and their families with the utmost respect and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to calls for body removal, ensuring timely arrival at designated locations.
• Handle deceased individuals with care and respect, adhering to established protocols and procedures for safe handling and transportation.
• Communicate effectively with families, hospital staff, law enforcement, and other relevant parties to coordinate removal logistics and address any concerns or questions.
• Maintain accurate records of removal activities, including documenting relevant details such as time, location, and condition of the deceased.
• Collaborate with funeral home staff to ensure seamless transition of the deceased into our care upon arrival at the facility.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in body removal or a related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately and professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and resources.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work on-call hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
