Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pretreatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.

Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Technician that will be responsible for system interlocks and power connections on all equipment.

Electrical Field Technician Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assemble complex wiring layouts on electric units
• Set up and testing of systems
• Communicating problems and quality control issues to co-workers and managers
• Anticipating material and resource needs for upcoming projects
• Keeping work area clean and organized
• Operating forklift, pallet jack, scissor lifts, or other equipment

Electrical Field Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience with 480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC wiring
• Basic understanding of system electrical prints
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Installing electrical components (i.e., unwrapping, cutting, installing components)
• Bending EMT conduit
• Installation of wire basket and cables
• Terminate Ethernet ends
• General use of hand tools
• Willing to travel to complete the electrical installation for our systems
