Midwest Eye Care PC is Hiring an Ophthalmic Assistant Near Council, NE

Midwest Eye Care is looking for an Ophthalmic Assistant at our locations Omaha (13500 California Street / 4353 Dodge Street) and Council Bluffs (715 Harmony Street).

Fulltime Hours – 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday thru Friday

In this role WE provide the training so that YOU are prepared to:
• Review and document eye and medical history.
• Perform a variety of routine tests including intraocular pressures and refracting.
• Dilate eyes for exams.
• Assist the physician during diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, including instrumentation, sterile preparations and documentation.
• Prepare and position patient for diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Assist the physician with patient education pertaining to the treatment prescribed.
• Answer phones and return patient phone calls.
• Record patient charges for billing department.
