Midwest Erectors and Construction is hiring for a Steel Fabrication Shop Foreman who enjoys seeing a project take shape. Candidates must be reliable, motivated, and interested in pursuing or continuing a career in metal buildings and general construction. Earn top dollar with benefits and opportunities for vertical advancement.
Pay & Benefits:
- Hiring Bonus: $2,000.00.
- Salaried position. Based on experience.

Hiring Requirements:
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Must proficiently be able to read a tape measure.
- Must be highly skilled in math.
- Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocation.
- Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline.
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
- Create schedules for workers and subcontractors.
- Hire additional subcontractors and assign work accordingly.
- Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary.
- Make changes in the operations as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
- Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
- Must be highly communicative with both internal and external communication.
- Perform and pass a drug test.
- Undergo a background check.
Core Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
Work in, at, or on construction projects, metal building construction, sheet metal, steel erection, equipment operation, new construction, repairs, remodels, and additions.
