Objectives of this Role
  • Analyzes and audits pre-closing documentation to produce regulatory required loan documents.
  • Manages workflow for documentation, new, renewals and modifications, for all branches.
  • Essential to creating and maintaining a centralized loan documentation environment to perfect the bank’s security interest.
  • Offers assistance and answers questions as needed.
  • Oversee management of flood database to ensure compliance with flood regulations.
  • Oversee management of forced placed insurance to include hazard and flood coverages.
  • Responsible for training of loan staff, loan coordinators and lenders regarding documentation, regulatory, bank policies and procedures.
  • Continuously work to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work collaboratively with our commercial team to ensure quality customer service.
  • Optimize staff capability and productivity and ensure execution of the Bank’s strategic initiatives.
  • Coach and develop loan staff to drive process improvement and optimize efficiencies.
  • Strengthen employee development and ensure performance management of team members.
  • Engage the bank’s external legal counsel as approved.
Essential Functions
  • Review prepared loan documentation to perfect the bank’s security interest, under a centralized environment.
  • Manage day to day responsibilities of the documentation team.
  • Administer and maintain LaserPro doc Prep system for all required updates and changes per regulation and bank policy.
  • Management of Core Logic and Missouri Department of Motor Vehicle databases to add and/or remove authorized users as needed.
  • Approve wires within delegated authority.
  • Ability to pivot and assist in multiple areas within the department, as needed, to ensure departmental success.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating department policies and procedures.
  • Effectively onboard and train all new team hires.
  • Conduct ongoing performance and development conversations with each team member
  • Create, revise, and update policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate, as requested, in enterprise and departmental projects
  • Lender/Lender Support assistance
  • Order supplies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5 years of commercial loan documentation management experience required
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle high workload and prioritize multiple tasks to insure timely completion
  • Required proficiency with regulatory requirements as well as internal bank policies
  • Professional telephone etiquette required
  • Must be able to work accurately under time constraints
  • Proficient with Laser Pro, including admin, doc prep system experience and all Microsoft office products, as well as mainframe systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Create, revise, and update policies and procedures
  • Have excellent typing skills
  • Ability to pass a background check
