- Responsible for efficient operations of the warehouse.
- Unload and load trucks or rails with incoming or outgoing material.
- Move materials to storage areas and between departments and staging areas.
- Use orders and delivery tickets for proper storage of material.
- Review material picking list and locate material for production area.
- Ensure material picked is what is on order.
- Weigh and measure all products.
- Inspect material for possible damage, report damage to supervisor.
- Assist in the inventory process, counting and verifying current stock.
- Removed finished product or scrap bails from production area to staging area.
- Prepare finished products for shipment including labeling, banding, shrink wrap.
- Restock material as needed.
- Report any discrepancies in orders to supervisor.
- Change fuel tank.
- Report any mechanical or safety problems with equipment to maintenance.
- Follow Safety rules and keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
