Midway Staffing is Hiring a Bilingual Staffing Coordinator Near Elgin, IL
- Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend the final selection of applicants, and close qualified candidates.
- Place and update all job postings through various channels including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards, and staffing partners.
- Create job order forms, maintain applicant tracking systems, recruiting reports, and other staffing administration functions as needed.
- Arrange pre-employment testing, and background & reference screenings.
- Assists with the new hire onboarding process by ensuring new hires have completed all their new hire paperwork before starting and sending out information regarding their first day.
- Consult with the Midway Branch Manager and Midway Clients on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Attends and participates in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events.
- Continuously develop networks/partnerships to actively build a database/pipeline of candidates.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a MUST!
- Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Self-starter with excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Reliable transportation needed for required travel (up to 10%).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
