Midland Medical Lodge is Hiring a Charge Nurse LVN/RN Near Midland, TX

As a Registered Nurse (LVN/RN) at Midland Medical Lodge, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents. You will be responsible for assessing patient health needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Your compassionate approach and clinical expertise will contribute to the overall quality of life for our residents.

Midland Medical Lodge is a leading post-acute care and assisted living facility located in the heart of Midland, Texas. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents, promoting wellness and independence in a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient health needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
