Midland Care Connection is Hiring a Home Health Aide (Float) Near TOPEKA, KS

Are you a CNA or HHA looking for a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact across various service areas? Midland Care Thrive Team is now hiring for a Home Health Aide Float to cover our service areas.

Summary:
The Home Health Aide (Float) is a pivotal role responsible for delivering patient care and home maintenance interventions within the patient's plan of care and organizational guidelines. This position operates under the clinical supervision of a registered nurse, maintaining flexibility in scheduling to address changing patient care needs in Kansas City, Olathe, Lawrence, Topeka, Emporia, and adjacent areas. A company car will be provided for work-related travel.

Employment Status| Full-time & Part-time | Mon-Fri 7am 4pm or 12pm - 10pm | Weekends 7am - 10pm | Split shift opportunities

Pay Rate: CNA - $19.25/hr | HHA - $20.35/hr

CNAs earn a $1,000 Sign On/Full Time or $500 Sign On/Part Time

Full Time HHAs will receive a $1,500 Sign On or $750 for Part Time

***CNA employees will receive paid training to obtain their HHA license after 60 days of employment, enhancing skill sets and career opportunities within the organization.

Shift differential rates:

  • $1 for weekday hours after 5pm - 8am
  • $1.50 for weekend hours between 8am - 5pm
  • $2 for weekend hours after 5pm - 8pm

Qualifications
Required: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with willingness to enroll in HHA certification course within first 90 days of employment. Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. Due to insurance company requirements, must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred: One year experience as a Home Health Aide preferred.
