Job Summary

The eCommerce Department functions as the manager and owner of all website sales, including 3rd party marketplaces, D2C websites, and Retailer.com. Working closely with Category managers, Marketing, Sales managers and offline sales teams, the eCommerce Dept strives to grow online presence while offering support to the overall organization through sales, product and marketing trend identification and development.

The eCommerce Analyst is primarily responsible for analysis of eCommerce sales and marketing data, identifying trends, and calculating and communicating inventory as it relates to planned marketing effectiveness. A primary focus of this position will be on Digital Marketing, how its measured in divergent systems across platforms, and how learning can be applied equally through the entire eCommerce eco-system. This position is also responsible for operational analysis for efficiency improvement, as well as regular reporting and maintenance of Digital Shelf SAAS.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Digital Marketing 

  • Compile and understand marketing metrics and performance
  • Use marketing data to extract and inform on learning
  • Build models that easily show the efficacy of marketing spend, and help inform budgeting
  • Design and maintain a marketing calendar

Inventory

  • Understand the inventory strategy, and the relationship between marketing and sell-through
  • Coordinate with eCommerce managers and other involved departments to accurately communicate sales trends
  • Understand and communicate the relationship between sales – inventory – spend, and its causal nature.

Digital Shelf

  • Lead the implementation of Digital Shelf software
  • Maintain the list of competitor products on the watchlist
  • Analyze and inform on trends and insights

Reporting

  • Own the regular reporting on sales, trends, and KPIs
  • Create reporting as needed
  • Coordinate with eCommerce team on actionable specific reports

Required Qualifications

  • Digital marketing analysis experience, preferably within an eCommerce framework (e.g. Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Lowes One Roof, Home Depot Retail Media Plus, Costco Marketing (Criteo))
  • Ecommerce experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Digital Shelf concepts and terminology
  • Experience in marketing and technology
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience data analysis and data-driven decision making (i.e. Google Analytics)
  • Understanding of sales, marketing, and inventory planning
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

 Occasional International Travel (<15% of time), Occasional Domestic travel (<25% of time)

Salary: $75k-$100k, 10% bonus. 401k and Medical
