Job Summary:

The Assistant Product Manager is responsible for supporting the category and brand management of assigned categories of major appliances. Core focus areas of product management include, but are not limited to, market research & strategy development, product development, product line planning, pricing generation, channel management, customer relationships, P&L forecasting, and key performance metrics attainment. This role will include managing & supporting a variety of activities and will report to the lead Product Manager of a category.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop category expertise to support team with product specs, market information, industry trends, & consumer and customer insights.
• Support Product Management with essential product & project management activities for assigned category.
• Work closely with cross-functional product development teams to help plan & actively manage products from ideation through end of product life cycle.
• Work with brand marketing to create and launch retail & ecommerce marketing assets to support A content.
• Coordinate with factory & sales teams to develop pricing and promotional plans for all accounts and channels.
• Support Product Management team to develop channel management strategies and closely align with all account leaders and stakeholders.
• Support supply chain forecasting process & financial forecasting monthly.
• Prepare sales materials to present during customer meetings & training sessions.
• Support product item set up, item maintenance, & product related system approvals.
• Achieve targeted revenue, net profit, aged inventory, & key project goals.
• Other Duties as Assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in Product Marketing, Product Management, or Sales - experience in home appliances or consumer electronics industry experience preferred.

• Work Environment-Office, may have to lift 50 or less pounds
• Travel: Regularly- International & Domestic Occasional International Travel (<15% of time), frequent Domestic travel (<25% of time).
• Home Appliances industry experience is preferred

Salary: $80k-$105k, 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision
