Description :
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains appropriate levels of tooling components, details, and perishables in the tool crib. Ensures all items are available when needed to eliminate workflow disruption.
Perform Die Maintenance responsibilities to support production.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Ensure all instructions and documentation are saved electronically in the correct location.
Ensure that sensors, wires, boxes on rails, valves, cylinders, and hoses are protected. Document items needed for installation, including sensor and pin location and work performed, via PLEX and SmartSheets.
Requirements : EDUCATION
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED. Completion of an Associate's Degree in Tooling & Manufacturing (or similar program) or completion of a college-based or apprenticeship-based Tool & Die or Technician program or certificate
EXPERIENCE
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds periodically.
ERRORS
Errors could result in high monetary losses if press or tooling is damaged, and adversely affect the Company's relationship with Customers.
COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Duties are of a routine nature with completing PM's and troubleshooting problem dies.
CONTACT WITH OTHERS
Must be able to communicate and interface well with Press Operators, members of Leadership, and other support departments on a routine basis and be conscious of the effects and responsibilities have on other departments.
MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND
Mental and visual demand are not normally of a burdening nature, however some heavy concentration may be required when programming.
