Job Summary:
As a Medical Supply Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of medical supplies to healthcare facilities, clinics, and patients. Your responsibilities will include loading, transporting, and unloading medical supplies while adhering to strict delivery schedules and safety protocols. You will interact with healthcare personnel and patients, providing excellent customer service and representing our company in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport medical supplies to various locations.
• Load and unload medical supplies from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care.
• Verify delivery instructions and addresses, and plan delivery routes efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare personnel, and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues or concerns.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery and any relevant documentation.
• Handle returned or damaged items according to company procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving delivery-related issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to infection control measures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and routing software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
