Position Summary:

The Director of Diagnostic Imaging directs and supervises all activities of the Diagnostic Imaging Department at all sites. Functions as an active member of the Hospital Management team. In collaboration with the Chairman of Radiology, establishes procedures and policies to assure delivery of quality and timely patient care and results. Monitors performance of staff according to regulations and requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree in a related field
• ARRT registration active and in good standing
• 5-7 years’ of previous supervisory experience
• Thorough knowledge and familiarity with all major aspects of the operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department
• Strong interpersonal, planning, negotiating and organizational skills
• Ability to manage departmental finances, safety, risk and marketing needs
• Maintain effective relations with Radiologists
