The Rikert Outdoor Center Manager oversees all Rikert Outdoor Center operations to provide an excellent visitor experience

to the patrons.

This is a full time, benefits eligible, salaried position with a hiring range of $54,746-68,453 per year.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develops and promotes Rikert Outdoor Center programs, services and events, in and off season.
• Oversees all Rikert operations including staffing, training, budget management, marketing, safety audits, ordering and stocking supplies, and documentation including certifications, rental and service records.
• Provides exceptional customer service across all areas of Rikert operations including scheduling, coordinating and organizing all races, training, and grooming needs, with internal and external customers.
• Oversees Rikert grooming, mowing and trail maintenance.
• Coordinates preseason setup and postseason breakdown of operational spaces with Breadloaf personnel.
• Works cooperatively with other user groups such as the Frost Mt. Club, high school ski team, Bill Koch League, Catamount Trail Association, etc.

• High school diploma and 3-5 years of touring center or related experience. College experience preferred.
• Exemplary Customer Service skills and the ability to multi task during periods of high activity.
• Business related experience in Fiscal Management, Marketing, and supervisory management.
• 5 plus years of experience in outdoor recreation management and significant cross-country ski business exposure.
• Experience with trail grooming, maintenance and equipment operation including tractors, chainsaws, brush hog and bachoe.
• Proficient in computer skills such as online research and Microsoft Word and Excel

Physical Demands:

Occasional heavy lifting, and long hours of standing, walking and cross-country skiing.
