FT Positions available in Gloucester and Tappahannock

Under general supervision, employee is responsible for providing Comprehensive Needs Assessments as part of Same Day Access to allow Adults and Children with their guardians to walk in for Full Evaluations and referral to services. The Assessment includes gathering information re: social history, current and past functioning, outcome of previous services, and other factors as well as formulating diagnoses to determine current need and eligibility for services. Responsibilities also include educating families about treatment options and freedom of choice. Employee must exercise considerable initiative and judgment in the effective and efficient administration of departmental programs. Employee must also exercise tact and courtesy in contact with staff, individuals served, the general public, and service providers. Reports to the Mental Health Outpatient Coordinator.
