Middle Flint Community Service Board is Hiring a Certified Peer Specialist Group Facilitator/SST-2, FT Near Americus, GA

Description of Duties: Maintain CPS Certification/Positive Role Model in taking care of oneself. Must understand/possess basic computer skills and be able to utilize them on daily basis. Ensure Failed Days for Failed Activities are three (3) days or less. Ensure Failed Days for Failed Claims are seven (7) days or less. Maintain a monthly peer unit authorization of 95% or better. Ensure there is no lapse in authorization of services. Meet expected monthly and quarterly productivity standards as required. Complete all documentation within 24-48 hours from date of service delivery. Monitors/records client’s progress/lack of towards goals, provides crisis interventions as needed. Provides one on one peer services/peer groups as needed based on client needs. Plan/facilitate/engage in community outings with clients and other staff. Assist with transportation of clients and Logisticare billing as needed. Requires ability to drive 15 passenger van, an unrestricted driving record, and valid driver’s license. Assist with monitoring clients during day treatment hours. Ensure linkage to all needed/required clinical services as requested by client, doctors, nurses, and stakeholders. Facilitate and/or coordinate group activities in accordance to service definitions. Be responsible for monitoring clients during on and off-site activities, work as a team member with other staff to always ensure safety and oversight of clients. Complete agency requirements for daily vehicle inspections, ensure seat belt use, log mileage, refuel vehicle, report accidents, and follow process for submission to Corporate Compliance Dept. Must be willing to complete Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner certification within 1 year. 

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a social service-related field from an accredited college or university OR High school diploma or GED AND Two years’ experience in a social service-related position OR One year at the lower level (SST010) or position equivalent. 

Agency is an eligible work site for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program

Minimum Entry Salary *: Negotiable
