Key Job Functions:

• Conduct manual labor activities including but not limited to, digging trenches/holes with shovel, exposing existing underground utilities, greasing equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work zone.
• Installation of utility pedestals, cabinets, and hand holes.
• Material handling to include conduit, fiber/cable pulling and installation.
• Performing site restoration and cleanup activities, including but limited to grade preparation, black dirt, seeding, and concrete restoration.
• Operation of light duty equipment to include skid steer, hydro-vacuum, jackhammer, concrete saw, power tamper.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in the installation of telecommunications infrastructure preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, state and local regulations and general safety standards.
