Job Description:

JL Entertainment Designs is looking for an Audio/Video Technician to help our growing and expanding company in Chester County. This is a field-based, customer-facing role that installs residential, commercial, and hospitality audio/video, surveillance and network equipment. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, service repairs and equipment modifications.

If you can install audio/video equipment, especially TVs and surround sound. This is a position for you!

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform the assembly, installation and troubleshooting of A/V equipment including but not be limited to, rack assembly, audio equipment and speaker installation, installing video projectors and screens, televisions, and related infrastructure.
• Running, terminating, testing and labeling cables.
• Knowledge and ability to set up and configure wired and wireless networking equipment.
• Ability to understand and integrate AV equipment within a network.
• Train and instruct customers on proper use of applicable technology.
• Maintain a clean work environment and succeeding with a thorough clean up at the end of each project.
• Manage time including time on the customer sites as well as travel time.
• Maintain a positive relationship with clients while ensuring their needs are met and the equipment is working properly.
• Represent JL Entertainment Designs, the company in a courteous & professional manner to clients and other trades.
• Other duties as required or assigned.
