The Automotive Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Shop Manager or Service Personnel. Our Techs expertly diagnose customer vehicle problems, accurately prescribe correct repair action(s), and promptly deliver the required service, thereby meeting or exceeding customer expectations. In addition, our Technician identifies and promotes our company culture of cooperation collaboration among all techs. By doing so, the Midas Technician is both a teacher and a student, regardless of tenure. We have found this approach best serves our customers and technicians alike.
The ideal Automotive Technician has a high school diploma/GED (advanced education, a plus), a minimum of two ASE certifications (or aspirations to attain them), two years of vehicle repair experience, an unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record, and a strong technical performance record.
