Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient's condition and notify appropriate healthcare professionals of any changes
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Adhere to nursing standards and protocols to maintain quality patient care
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of {location}
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or related field preferred
- Experience in pediatrics, ER, or dementia care is a plus
- Proficient in phlebotomy, specimen collection processing, and venipuncture techniques
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
