• High degree of expertise in internal medicine is required.

Previous employment experience in Emergency Department is highly preferred.

• Responsible for providing high quality patient care in the MercyOne Dyersville Medical Center Emergency Department and inpatient hospital setting. The expectation of our providers is to function independently at the highest level of practice.

Although this list is not fully inclusive, the general expectations for NP would include assessment, stabilization, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of Emergency Department patients.

• Hospitalist responsibilities include admission, management of care, consultation with specialists, disposition planning, transfer, and discharge.

The population served is all ages neonatal through geriatric.
