Intervention Specialist - Teacher
This position serves in a small alternative school on the Mid-Western Children's Home campus called Village Christian School. Students served primarily live in the on-campus group home while about 25% of the students are placed through other school districts. This job features a smaller than average IEP case load allowing for a more dynamic relationships with each student. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring IEP's, progress monitoring, and academic support. Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelors degree in special education. We are willing to accept and support individuals that are in the process of attaining their Resident Educator License. The person needs to be passionate about meeting the needs of students, be excellent in serving students with past history of trauma, and be a team player.
