The Person

The Sales and Preconstruction Leadplays a key role in the organization's ability to generate income and revenue through outstanding sales experiences. They ask thoughtful questions to identify essential information and communicate clearly. This person is a strategic thinker – able to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals, adapt to changing markets, and understand the business implications of their decisions.

This position will spend approximately 20% of their time traveling to customers. A majority of customers are within a 3-hour drive of our South Beloit, Illinois manufacturing facility.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of previous experience working in the construction space (sales, engineering, design, project management, or field)
• Demonstrated ability to present/speak effectively in group settings

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience supporting sales or high-level customer interactions
• Customer management database experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, civil engineering, or related field
• PMP or another project management certification
• Previous experience working in the building systems industry or hands-on in the construction space
