Mid-State Marketing is currently accepting applications for a General Laborer at our Alexandria, LA facility. Mid-State Marketing is a master distributor of Borden brand dairy products and Blue Bunny ice cream products throughout Louisiana.
Job Description
This position involves a wide range of duties including, but not limited to the following:
- General facility cleaning, maintenance and upkeep
- Equipment maintenance (non-mechanical)
- Assisting with special projects
- Warehouse work
- Route truck loading
- Running errands
- Occasionally assisting route drivers on the route
Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license with no at-fault accidents and no moving violations
- Must be physically capable of lifting more than 50 pounds multiple times a day and bending, stooping and climbing throughout the day
- Must be able to count accurately and do simple math
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
- Must be capable of working with little or no supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
