Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tree Climber/Trimmer to join our team. As a Tree Trimmer, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for trees in various settings such as gardens, landscapes, and public areas. Your primary duties will include trimming, pruning, and removing trees to ensure their health and safety.

Duties:

- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks using appropriate equipment and techniques

- Operate bucket trucks or other aerial lift equipment to access trees at various heights

- Use rigging techniques to safely lower tree limbs and branches

- Assess tree health and identify any signs of disease or damage

- Apply fertilizers or other treatments to promote tree growth and vitality

- Clear debris and clean up work areas after completing tree trimming or removal projects

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of tasks

- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Skills:

- Proficiency in tree care practices, including pruning, trimming, and removal techniques

- Experience operating bucket trucks or other aerial lift equipment

- Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe limb lowering

- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and lawn care equipment

- Ability to assess tree health and identify signs of disease or damage

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions

Please note that this is a paid position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
