Job Description

POSITION: Financial Analyst

Primary Function: To assist with the overall administration of budgeting/forecasting, Asset Liability Management (ALM) modeling and assumptions, ALM on Economic Value and NII forecast, supports the process for producing the budget variance reports and completing meeting packages for ALCO, market research and deposit pricing, ECIP reporting, CECL calculations and analysis, cash flow and liquidity management, and investing for the Credit Union. Adds value to the Credit Union by providing accurate information and timely reporting related to the finance functions.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years of finance or accounting experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to the Board of Directors, Executive Team, and other key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytic, financial modeling and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work with advanced spreadsheets, general ledger accounting systems, and other general technology such as report writers and budget software.
  • Cash flow/Liquidity/Investment Management
  • Financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

SALARY: Based on Experience.

STARTING DATE: As soon as possible

WORK LOCATION: Admin Building

PROPOSED SCHEDULE: This is an exempt position. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
