Job description

Our busy pipeline company is seeking an experienced Fiber Splicer to join our team of construction professionals. The ideal candidates will have 5 years of experience in the Telecommunications field. If you are looking to work alongside some of the best in the industry, please apply today!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Splicing loose tube fiber
  • Splicing ribbon fiber
  • Perform testing OTDR and maintaining documents.
  • Troubleshooting fiber networks
  • Case audits
  • Work in a team environment.
  • On call rotation for emergency work/repair.
  • Proficient in using EXFO and Fujikura products.
  • Build splice cases to our standards and customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FOA or related certification
  • 5 years of relevant experience

Minium Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
