This position will provide supplemental labor for cleaning crews in Clare county. MMI is looking to fill times ranging M-F for various times including evenings on most days. Schedule may be filled by one person or combination of people.

Available Shifts:

Monday - Wednesday, 3:30pm-8:30pm (4.5 hrs)*

Thursday - 9am-8:30pm (10.5 hrs)*

Friday - 3:30pm-6pm (2.5 hrs)

*- Shifts include scheduled unpaid lunch breaks

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Work related experience or skills in one or more of the following areas: maintenance, janitorial. Ability to read and follow written instructions and labels. This position requires Heavy Work as defined in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles: exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and 25-50 pounds of force frequently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in operation of power tools.

GENERAL LABOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate agency equipment in accordance with agency policy and state/federal laws.
• Maintain tools, equipment and supplies to assure the completion of tasks.
• Follow agency safety rules.
• Report any deficiencies in equipment, tools, or supplies to supervisor immediately.
• Serve as an advocate for persons receiving services by assuring recipients' rights and confidentiality is protected in accordance with agency policy and the Mental Health Code, including completion of incident reports and verbal reporting to manager and/or MMI Recipient Rights Advisor.
