Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchasing inventory. This will entail creating purchase orders, receiving purchase orders, entering new inventory items, maintaining inventory levels, working closely with store Team Leaders and administration.

We currently have 2 store locations and a rapidly developing online store soon to launch. This position will likely require a small amount of traveling. A Valid Driver's License in good standing is required. Prior Inventory experience required.

Pay is commensurate with experience and ability.

Duties:

- Procure inventory based on company needs and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and participate in production planning to avoid shortages.
- Utilize Shopify and Stocky programs for inventory management.
- Coordinate with various departments to understand their purchasing requirements.

Requirements:

- Inventory experience
- Valid Driver's License in good standing.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices a plus.
- Computer Literate. Experience utilizing Excel a plus.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Stocky, or similar procurement software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills / abilities is a must.
