The position is located out of the Rutherford County Office and involves the supervision and monitoring of non-violent felony offenders who have been released from incarceration and assigned to the Community Corrections Program for Williamson and Cannon County. Activities associated with this position include direct supervision through home and office visits, establishing needed supportive services, and maintaining the documentation necessary to comply with program policies and procedures. Additional activities include providing testimony in court, assisting with electronic monitoring, collection of fees, and maintaining case management database. Job responsibilities require experience in community corrections, law enforcement, or related field. E.O.E.
$18.27 per hour
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional experience in Criminal Justice, Social/Behavioral Sciences, or closely related field. Experience in criminal court proceedings and working with felony offenders; ability to follow program procedures and make appropriate decisions. Strong interpersonal, decision making, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain detailed and confidential information.
