What you will be working on:

• Pre-op Patient assessment and procedure preparations
• Assisting Physicians during procedures
• Post Op Recovery
• Overseeing patient and staff flow
• Ensuring policies and procedures are followed
• Additional duties may include maintaining the emergency cart, ordering, and inventorying medication, giving pre-procedure instruction, and participating in Quality Management projects.

What you’ll know:

• A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bilingual - Spanish speaking preferred
• GI experience preferred, preferably in an ASC or GI Suite
• Current NY RN license
• Knowledge of EMR and medical terminology.
• ACLS required within 6 months of employment
• BLS required
• Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
• Compassion for patient needs and a high degree of professionalism

Mid-Bronx Endoscopy Center (MBEC) carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum payrate for the position is $42.00 hourly and the maximum hourly for the position is $49.00. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
