Immediate need for an Accounts Payable/ Receivable Clerk $500 signing Bonus! 

SALARY: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm with mandatory overtime during month end processing

Overview:

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Accounts Payable/ Receivable Clerk.  to post all receivables and invoices daily with a high degree of accuracy. Your tasks involve maintain and process all accounts payable and receivable requests daily with a high degree of accuracy. As well as the resolution of discrepancies related to any of the above responsibilities. Work in a fast-paced environment able to meet daily and monthly deadlines. You’ll also assist with miscellaneous accounting duties along with lobby and front desk area in our Clearwater office. 

A minimum of one year experience in AR (or related accounting field), experience in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel preferred. Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Post all accounts receivable
• Reconcile daily
• Timely and accurate recording of invoices and other payables
• Code and enter all corporate accounts payable
• Research and resolve accounts payable or accounts receivable issues
• Assistance with general accounting tasks, including G/L account reconciliation, as well as other ad-hoc projects
• Maintain accounts payable supporting documents for entry into the accounting system, including collecting all invoices
• Assist with administrative tasks relating to the front desk such as receive/sort/route all incoming mail and process customer payments accurately/ cash handling

• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute to team objectives
• Ability to process work daily to meet deadlines
• Must be functional in using QuickBooks and Microsoft software including Word and Excel
• Strong data entry skills
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic and able to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in high pressure situations
