Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Description:
Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team! This position is 15-20 days per month (must have availability Monday -Friday) based out of the Birmingham, AL area and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to local county jails. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting. Travel could extend to 2.5- 3-hour travel, hotel stay provided if desired.
- Guaranteed compensation of $24,000 annual salary
- Additional $15 per hour for clinic hours worked and drive time
- NO weekend or evening hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account
- Company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Duties Include:
- Assist Dentist in chairside procedures
- Responsible for equipment and supplies as well as maintenance of company van
- Various administrative duties
Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Qualifications Include:
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required
- 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred
- Willingness to travel within a 2.5 -hour radius
