We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector that will be responsible for the following:

SCOPE:

The Quality Assurance Inspector will be part of a team of Quality operators and perform various electronics inspections in a cleanroom environment.

This role requires being responsible for the quality operations and performance by supporting factory floor activities to achieve production output, quality, training in a higher level, and safety targets. Micross Hi-Rel Power Solutions is a leader in high-reliability, rad hard and ruggedized power management solutions for space, military and aerospace, national security programs and other harsh environment applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Using both high and low power microscopes, visually inspect Hybrid and PCB assemblies in accordance with MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750 and IPC 610 with J-STD 2 hand soldering with Space addendum.
• Determine or assist in determining sequences for inspection using available tools such as system logs or priority list from management.
• Log defects in non-conforming material database, and follow specific directions assigned to aide in the disposition of defects.
• Utilize camera systems to capture detailed photos of defects and capture photos of fully assembled product prior to moving to next operation.
• Interface with facility staff to prep material for customer Source Inspection activities.
• Work to resolve aging items with Supervisor.
• Work with minimal supervision- Independent worker, detailed oriented, and self-motivated
• Able to demonstrate and fulfill process requirements after undergoing training by qualified trainer.
• Comply with safety regulations, ESD regulations, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties requested by the Supervisor or Manager.

• Demonstrate ability to understand inspection requirements for all the different types of assembled product that go through in-process inspection.
• Working in a clean room environment
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
• Three (3) or more years of quality process.
• Must have strong manual dexterity and be able to use small tools.
• Handling multiple priorities.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic Microscope functions and inspection techniques in accordance with IPC-610, MIL-STD 750 and MIL-STD-883.
• Proficient computer skills such as Expandable, Q-Pulse, MS Office, and administrative, informational, and operational tasks.
• Due to export control rules, must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
• Positive, “can do” approach, capable to remain focused on solutions, open, and flexible even when under pressure.
