Leverage reports, dashboards, tabular models and analytical insights to drive business success. Research market conditions and gather information to determine potential sales of Microsoft’s products or services. Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Compile data for comprehensive monetization and business strategies for existing and emerging markets. Develop an understanding of Microsoft’s product portfolio to analyze strategic priorities, competitive position, gaps, and potential opportunities. May investigate and provide an analysis of merger and acquisition (M&A), venture funding, and public market environment and trends. Support and review business intelligence data related to product roadmaps, go-to-market, integration, and related plans to ensure effective business outcomes. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Minimum Requirements

-Education: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Business, Business Administration, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.

-Experience: 36 months of experience in business planning, business analysis, or business intelligence.

-Specific Skills: Must include 36 months of experience in Design Process; Defining business outcomes; Creating strategy from data insights, knowledge of process and tools to improve process performance; Lean Methodology; Operation Management; Process Management; and Process Optimization.

-Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG5762704), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $142,800 to $172,800 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
