Our Opportunity Summary:

As a MDM Solution Developer / Architect at Micron you will configure, develop, maintain and support Micron and MDM Informatica Solutions. You will build and analyze software specifications, and research, design, document, modify, and support software throughout the development life cycle. You can demonstrate the functional and technical skills vital to switch between development technologies and merge them to deliver the best solution. You have a demonstrable ability to build quality software and participate in quality improvement efforts. You will provide solutions that build business value while at the same time minimizing negative impact through defects, downtime, or performance degradation.

What’s Encouraged Daily:

  • Proven background in Master Data, specifically regarding Products, BOM and Customer.

  • Demonstrate Micron core values People, Innovation, Tenacity, Teamwork, and Customer Focus

  • Collecting requirements from customer requests

  • Crafting, developing, debugging, documenting, testing, and deploying applications

  • Collaborating with other developers on the team

  • Working closely with Business Operation Teams, Product and Application Development teams, and other internal customers during application development and deployment

  • Training users on the use and maintenance of new applications

  • Implement 3rd party solutions and partner with the IT Procurement representative to determine contracts, support requirements, training provided, etc.

  • Develop and architect solutions in Informatica

  • Implement integrations between Informatica and Teamcenter, SAP

  • Discuss with business partners and product owners to understand the requirements for Customer and Product domains.

  • Discuss with Product and Customer IT teams to come up with MDM architecture for Customer and Product domains.

  • Do quick prototypes/POC’s in IDMC tool as needed to determine feasibility of requirements.

  • Build detailed architecture diagrams on how IDMC services are used and on how various systems are integrating with IDMC.

  • Work with Customer and Product architects to prepare integration strategy for each system with IDMC.

  • Model entities and hierarchies for Product and Customer domain as per the requirements.

  • Detail out the Matching and Survivorship strategies for each domain.

  • Prepare design documentations for Data quality rules and Data enrichment.

  • Model reference data sets in Reference 360 as per the domain needs and build approval workflows for each Reference data set.

  • Should have good knowledge of the Informatica services to determine the right fitment for the requirements. Should be able to independently work with Informatica as needed for any consultation.

How To Qualify:

  • Degree in IT or Engineering or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • 5 years of experience implementing solutions with Informatica
  • Master Data Management business process and foundational concept knowledge
  • Demonstrable experience architecting MDM solutions
  • SAP Experience highly desired
  • Semiconductor or High-tech Proven experience (helpful)
