As a Customer Quality Engineer within the Global Quality Organization at Micron Technology, Inc., you serve as the internal voice of the customer for quality!
You will be the key customer facing contact to own your customers’ quality requirements so that Micron is able to deliver a world class customer quality experience. You will interact multi-functionally with sales, field application engineers and internal partners to maintain alignment on quality and reliability issues and foster strong customer relationships.
Responsibilitites:
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision makers in the customer’s quality and engineering organizations
- Enable a relationship of trust and partnership with customers through technical excellence and a passion for excellent customer service
- Own and foster cross-department collaboration to align customer technical support
- Advise senior management in relation to strategic decisions for technical customer support with timely and effective communication
- Work closely with the customer to resolve their key concerns, production and field failures
- Drive customer support excellence through metrics and processes and continuous improvement
- Work with Quality Management System (QMS) team on customer audits
- Champion “voice of customers” on quality within Micron
Qualifications:
- Strong proven technical background in memory (DRAM), product design/engineering, test, system validation, or application engineering.
- Systems and application level experience, inclusive of one or more of these areas: Datacenter architecture, system design, component/system test and troubleshooting.
- System integration experience involving memory products
- Detailed knowledge of DRAM operation
- Strong experience performing system level debug
- Integration and performance validation of memory and/or memory controllers
- Proven experience working with customers in evaluating requirements, driving technical engagements and finding optimum solutions to customer’s challenges
- Quality and Reliability experience is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 10 years of semiconductor industry experience
- DRAM and basic System knowledge
- Experience with quality processes and procedures preferred
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and customer communications skills
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$154,000.00 - $261,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
